Matt has always loved reading and being read to. He especially enjoys fantasy, and has gained inspiration from comic books, video games, and science fiction/fantasy movies and books. He began writing his own fantasy tale at age 12, and continued working on it persistently and determinedly throughout his high school years. Eventually, the story grew into a fantasy novel centered on the fictional realm of Danar.
